Cherry blossom honey is not a common monofloral variety of honey. Cherries blossom during early spring, at which time bees process nectar primarily to raise their offspring. Therefore, a larger cherry tree plantation is needed to produce this honey.
This honey has a light amber color with reddish tones. Honey crystallizes slowly but faster than acacia. Aroma is not intense and resembles cherry blossoms.
Cherry blossom honey stimulates the immune system, provides probiotic benefits and helps maintain the balance of the intestinal flora.
This honey is crude in its organic and unfiltered form. Without heat treatment, it is especially rich in minerals, probiotics, antioxidants and enzymes.
